Code Blue (Ko-do Buru-)



I first saw this poster at Japan. My first thought, "Woot! Yui and Erika! I MUST WATCH!" I didn't pay much attention to Yamapi initially. Hahahaha. I look at the girls first. Anyway, this show is good. Really good. Interesting, but there were many times I had to go google for the term they used. Too medical for me. Hard to understand what the heck they mean or they are trying to do. But hey, good for extra knowledge.

This is like a typical doctor show, on the Emergency and Accident section. Alarm rings, rescue, rinse and repeat. Of course, story is spiced up a bit here and there. Pretty touching, I would say.

What actually makes this doctor rescue special from the rest is its HELICOPTER! Well... The theme was actually Doctor Heli, which is doctor sent to actual site using heli and evacuation via heli too, if needed.

Yamashita Tomohisa. I guess those who listens to JPop or watch JDrama would have known who is him by now. So I'm not going to introduce him again. Some interesting notable stuff. He got curly hair! On first few looks, you may find him looking weird or something. But after some time, it starts to grow into you. He actually still looks good with that. I must emphasize on this. Not everyone would look good with that kind of hair, not even close to okay looking. Don't believe? Watch this...

Aragaki Yui!! She may sucks (just a bit) in her acting and singing, but I just can't stop liking her. =)) I think I never introduce her before, so let me do so here. I first saw her in "Dragon Zakura", then she's also inside "My Boss My Hero". Remember that Japanese movie "Koizora"? She's in there too! I watched her "Galcir" too. =))) Okay, she's one of my favourite female celebrity. I'm biased. I don't care. Go away if you don't like her. Shoo!



Another female celebrity that I like. Toda Erika! Introduced her before. She's better known as "Misa" in Death Note. Don't know why people only recognise her as that. Sad.... She got act in a lot of other shows too what........ Oh oh oh! Recently she got a new drama which seems not bad, "Ryusei no Kizuna".





I happily omitted one of the 4 doctors mentioned in the synopsis, because he's a guy. And maybe because I didn't watch enough of his show yet. Instead of introducing him, I decided to introduce this girl! MUAhaHAhaHAhAhaHaHahAA!! She's look gooooooood~ Or maybe it's the character she acted in the show. Cool! Although she's just a nurse, she has the authority! Woot! "Take that you noob doctor! TATATATATATATAAAA!" My first show on her, so no additional information to throw in.

Last Friends (Rasuto Furenzu)



This is a twisted drama. Almost everything is twisted. You got Domestic Violence (known as DV), Homosexuality, Genophobia/Erotophobia/Coitophobia (don't know which one best describe). It's trying to show some common social issues. Love romance that induces your tear glands flow and makes you go sniffing.

During the middle portion of this drama, I was starting to wonder what kind of drama was i watching there. It seemed more like a thriller horror flick to me. Extreme stalker action. Kinda scary you know.

The show was good. But personally, I think the ending kinda stinks. It has a nice starting, nice build up, but ending doesn't kinda match up with them. =\ But but but... The 5 main characters are in my fav lists!



Nagasawa Masami. Introduced before, not going to do so here. She's the victim of DV. I don't really like her in this show. Maybe she appeared too wimpy in it. Hmmm... If that's the case, then her acting is good. Or maybe she's going down in my fav list. =|






BwaHAHAhAhAhAhAhAHahAHAHAhaHAhaHA!! UENO JURI! BANZAI!! She's damn good. DARN GOOD! I do really think she can act in any roles! She looks cool with short hair too okay.







Eita. I don't his full name. Seriously, in the show initially you'll think he's... Okay, cannot say it out. Or else it'll be a spoiler. His hair is always very attention seeking. Amazing.







This is the scary guy. Nishikido Ryo (also known as Seng, among ourselves, for some reasons). If you hate him after watching this show, that's a thumb-up for him. He really brings out that personality of the character he's acting. Really! He really freaks me out at times during the show. Superb acting!! Simply fabulous!





Asami-chan~ Her role isnt that major in the show, but well, I don't mind her in the banner. =)) She also has some issues in the show, but it appears to be mild when compared to the others. Kinda sad huh? But I still like her nevertheless! =D

Yasuko to Kenji



Looking through the cast, only 1 person caught my attention. Hirosue Ryoko. But that's all it takes to make me wanna watch this show. Hahahahahaha... Sometimes it feels just so good to watch actor/actress of our time. Signs of getting old. =|

Anyway, just make a note here, Zm did mention about this show to me. Ya... And good thing I watched it. Because it's a nice show! A good comedy in general. I was actually laughing out loud at times. And it's heartwarming at the ending. It's just so nice. Like eating oreo dunked into milk. Oreo dunked into milk is really nice. It's best go with fresh milk. Err.. back to the show.

Almost forgot to talk about the basic plot. The basic plot is... it's complicated for me to explain it. So I'll copy and paste from Wiki D-Addicts -

The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki. Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days. --Tokyograph


Matsuo Mashiro. A member of Tokio. Same group as Nagase Tomoya, the guy in Tiger and Dragon, and My Boss My Hero. I think Tokio people makes good yakuza. It's just so in their blood. Acting yakuza is so natural to them. He got a few signature moves in the show, cool moves.






Hirosue Ryoko, do I need to say anymore? If you don't know her, please just go jump out of the nearest window. I enjoy watching the moments she switched her personality. That was kinda comical. MUST WATCH THIS SHOW TO SEE HER ACTING!!!






As for these two, Okura Tadayoshi (left) and Tabe Mikako (right), I think they are quite irritating in the show. They are so 偶像剧 kind of actors. Boring. I don't really like this kind of actors. What I know about them, almost nothing. Only know the guy is from Kanjani8, that's all. Nothing further on them.

These are just 3 of the dramas I've watched recently. I'm actually watching Mythbuster recently instead. Maybe I should write down a list of interesting myths and facts that they have proven in the show eh? That's for next time. It's peak timing now. My supporting work usually start at 3pm. Work work.

2 dorama otaku started to take up the roles of 2 characters in Proposal Daisakuen... for reason, which i dun understand oso.. here's the story.. got 2 otakus, S and Z.. Z suddenly, dunno why, said S sound like Mikio in the show.. and started calling him Mikio.. =.=" nvm.. bcos S quite like Mikio, that character and that actor himself..

That's Mikio (Hiraoka Yuta in real person)... then Z suddenly dun feel good calling S Mikio.. bcos Mikio is nice looking.. and S isn't... but who cares.. S likes it... hahahaha.. then S decided to give Z a character role too.. for some reason, which cannot be revealed... S gave Z the Tsurumi 's role.. Z was pretty alright with that character.. but then.. he realised.. Tsurumi.. is... erm... a shorty in the show!

That's Tsurumi (Gaku Hamada in real person).. hahhahahaaha... think Z didnt think too much when assigning the roles.. but S was definitely a scheming guy, and Z fell for it totally.. but Z didn't complain much either.. oh well... so it started like that and continued on... Z went on calling S Mikio everytime... then now S realised.. that's so otaku..... too late........... and now everyone knows that they are otakus too.. TOOO LATEEEEEEE!!

this show daji jio me watch one.. he passed mi the show to watch one.. eh.. not say very nice to watch.. can give it a miss too.. hahahaha! unless u no show to watch, then watch this lor.. lots of cleavage in the show.. oh.. and women in bras when showing them in changing room.. nothing special though.. I'm glad this show wasn't in my priority list.. let's move on to the next drama..

eh.. title translated to english is "Operation Proposal". this show actually i think zm asked mi to watch long time ago le.. but until recently i think dig it out and watch.. wah! luckily i still remember abt this show.. this show is good!

i first saw him in the show "Nobuta o Produce".. initially i dun really like him.. he's a bit too faggot in the show.. but as the show went on.. well.. he's cool.. *ahem* then i went on trying another show of his, Kurosagi.. actually i watched kurosagi mainly bcos got horikita maki instead of him.. hahaha.. then some another show i've watched is dragon zakura.. but in proposal daisakusen, he's even better.. i think outta his 4 shows that i've watched, this one i like him best..

this guy uncle liao.. and he's not really the main lead of this show.. but i like him.. his acting is good.. and he's cool.. but apparently zw said that zm dun like this guy.. think bcos he's the one who snatched the girl away in the show.. hmmm.. stupid reason though..
in 1 litre of tears, he's that doctor! in galcir (short for Gal Circle), he's the lead.. i watched that show bcos of Toda Erika..



this show is abt Rei (Nagasawa Masami) and Ken (Yamashita Tomohisa) are childhood friends.. however, Rei is getting married to Tada (Fujiki Naohito).. then Ken was given chance by a fairy to go back in time and change the past..

basically every ep shows him going back into a point of time in the past and he trying to amend it.. i should not say any spoiler here.. so, ya.. WATCH IT! it's really nice!!!

Nodame Cantible

those who are anime addicts, i bet you have alreadi heard of this story.. the live action is cool.. eh.. the story got lots of classical music.. those play piano and stuff one, u might like it wor.. it's a romance comedy.. overall the show is pretty funny.. lots of funny happenings.. the development of the extreme couple.. Mukya~!

hmmm.. i'm unfair ah? female i add in so much info.. hahaha.. i'm a guy.. anyway.. i first saw her in the show "Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi", aka "Angels with Broken Wings".. her role in that show was those serious one.. eh.. well.. that drama is serious type in the first place.. at that time, i wasn't that interested in her yet.. but this show.. WOOT~ she got mi there! Gyabo~ she's damn good in the show.. acting and stuff.. maybe some of u might think she's acting cute in the show.. but if u have watched the nodame's anime or read its manga, u would know that's bcos of the role itself.. nevertheless, she did it well wor! she can act both cute and serious roles.. THUMBS UP!

let's see.. who else is in the show.. or rather who else worth mentioning in the show.. Eita (瑛太), he acted in suppli and water boy.. oh.. the male lead was in water boy too i think.. Mizukawa Asami (水川あさみ), she was in saiyuuki.. she was that thief, for those who have watched it..

Galileo

Galileo is no stranger in the world of science. Remember the guy who dropped ball from Leaning Tower of Pisa and concluded that everything falls at the same speed? He's the one. wait... why am i typing in proper typing.. and why am i introducing him.. the show has nothing to do with him... =.="

this is a crime mystery drama... in all the cases, it seemed like some supernatural phenomenon.. but apparently, it's all abt science... those phenomenons are juz tricks of science.. =)) i love science.. that's why i like this drama.. i think this show might piss off people who detest science, esp the physics field.. hahaha..

this drama basically is those multiple stories type.. 1 crime per ep, with exception of last 2 eps.. the last 2 eps is 1 big crime.. finale liao mah..

lemme shock u more.. i'll list out the big names that appear for the individual story.. ep3 got hirosue ryoko (u know who she is)... ep4 got katori shingo(that guy from SMAP) and..... AOI SORA(ALL GUYS SHOULD KNOW HER)!!! but... eh.. she's the dead victim.. onli appeared for like a few min.. =\ ep6 got horikita maki (the nobuta from nobuta o produce), ep 7 got fukada kyoko (u know who she is too).. wahahahha.. those are all big stars wor...

so... if you like detective crime story (and physics), u will like this show! WOOT~


Hanazakari no Kimitachi e

here's another drama based on a manga... those taiwan idol drama fans will know this story too.. u know 花样少年少女? yup, that story.. so u know the plot.. girl act boy go all-boy school.. i think the main plot is the same, but the details are different.. i'm not too sure bcos it didn't watch the taiwan version.. another romance comedy.. well.. japan drama that are popular over in singapore mainly belong to that genre.. =)

her 成名作品 is "Nobuta o Produce".. after that show, she's started to gain more popularity.. some other drama that she acted in were Kurosagi, Densha Otoko, Akane Teppan Shoujo(lousy show, dun watch), Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi and Galileo.. kawaii~ must support her!!!

after watching quite a number of drama series, let's see so far i like which actors.. female side got Ueno Juri, Horikita Maki, Aragaki Yui, Toda Erika, Sawajiri Erika.. male side got Katori Shingo, Nagase Tomoya, Yamashita Tomohisa, Kamenashi Kazuya, Fujiki Naohito.. hmmm.. brain cannot recall liao...

i've left a few more series to complete.. and a few more to get from zm... woot~

I NEVER GO SWIMMING!! well.. there's a veri good reason.. it's all co's fault.. i hate her!! she made mi gian to watch heroes.. so.. i watched heroes last night.. from late night till this morning.. WOOT~ I'M ADDICTED!!! then afternoon wake up straight away i resume watching it again! i like the plot! it juz keeps getting better!

it's scary.. i juz kept watching it on and on and on and on.. almost late for my appointment.. luckily i reached there right on dot. 7pm.. taking free ride from fk.. yeah.. watched hairy potty.. eh.. personally, i find this time the movie is pretty nice.. dunno why.. i think i prefer this to goblet of fire.. hmmm.. maybe bcos the book was too boring in the starting.. so didnt give mi a nice impression on the book.. the movie, instead, has a better opening to the plot.. ya.. personal opinion onli! dun flame!!

let's see wat am i going to do tml.. dunno if i'm able to swim tml or not.. think should be going arcade with some jiu hu kia.. with or without him, i think i needa make a trip down to bugis tml.. juz realised i have no casual clothing!! need to update on my wardrobe.. from long sleeves to tee shirt.. GO GO GO!! and.. I'LL BE WATCHING HEROES AGAIN TONIGHT!!!
