It's Xmas season (again)! This year I thought I can slack a bit, buy less presents because Ah Jiao is having wedding, so maybe can don't need to celebrate with that group. Lol. Hey! Not that I don't wanna celebrate with them, just a lazy thought. Anyway, turned out the gift exchange is still on. One reason why I'm kinda lazy for that is because... it's a gift exchange with everyone in that 5-pax group. I needa find 4 presents!

In the end, this year I needa find 14 presents in total. 14!!! Highest record ever, considering SC is a lazy person.

An update! + My birthday

Heya! Update of my working life!

I'm 2 weeks into my working phase of my life. So far still okay. Doing read ups almost everyday. Fighting zzz monster. MSNing. Facebooking. Well, the last 2 activities only came in during the 2nd week. 1st week, I kept them to the minimum.

The company has around 20 people in the workforce. If asking about number of females, there's only 2. 2 aunties, both are admin staff. The people here around multinational, from Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia mostly. Lunching with them every afternoon, but apparently they don't hang out together at night one. So ya, lunch is the only interaction time.

Although the reading is pretty dry and often made fight with zzz monster, once in while some of the stuff I've read did really interest me. Plus, a bit of hands on here and there is cool! After all, this is a field that I love so much. =) Passion Max! If you see me msning a lot, it just means the reading is getting dull. If the msning rate is less frequent, it means either I'm inside training, or I'm intrigued by the hands on. =)) Max Passion Max!!

1st week of working was pretty shagged out though. Not used to the timing yet. It's a 9-6 job, but I always reach early and leave late. Wayanging is part of the job scope for now. And I was totally addicted to the game, Spore. Playing till 2-3am every night, and gotta wake up @ 7am the next morning. Basically I had less than 6 hours of sleep everyday. Can only blame myself lah ah. =\

Here's something I'm pretty proud of! 1st week I only spent around 40bucks on transport and food! 40 bucks nia!!!! =)) Because I only exist 2 places during the first week, workplace and home. Even for weekend I stayed at home too. Hahaha... Too shagged to go out anyway. And there's this Spore too. =D But for 2nd week, I'm spending like no tomorrow like that. Cham... Never mind! 4 more days to wallet revival!!!!

Yup. Guess there's all to my working life for long. I'm still surviving, still maintaining my game addicts.

This year birthday was good. Thanks to the people around me. Made me feel I'm so alive. At least, in for a short term period now, people will still remember me. =~) (reference back to one of my old post) Thanks you peeps! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

last happening day before exam...

alright.. yesterday should be the last day that i can really enjoy before the exam starts.. we should be starting to study for it liao though.. i'm still warming up.. =)

let's see.. yesterday went sch for normal lesson. my normal lesson, that is.. attended jap tut.. there wasn't any other lesson, i think.. it was e-learning week? isn't it? or was that last week? does it even matter? forget it lah ah..

after lesson, i went to SCR to find the usual gang of uni friends.. they were studying wor.. at least they were studying before my arrival.. then i spotted zw playing viwawa big2.5.. and cs was entering too.. Ha! it was an opportunity i couldn't miss.. jq was not back at his laptop yet, so i decided to hijack it! WAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAA! then we even jio-ed jh to join in.. well done! 4 players and we can have a private table! as usual, the pwd i set was pretty self-centered and self-praising. yesterday the pwd i put was "sicongisgod". MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

oh yeah.. so we played rounds after rounds.. even after the owner of the laptop came back, but he was kind enough to let mi continue using it.. i think he's too pai seh to chase me away lah.. hahaha.. he's a nice guy.. nice guy dun chase pple away one.. if it's daji, it will be different story.. he doesn't even lend mi the laptop in the first place... =\

then next up, i had the monthly scc gathering 730pm @ suntec.. but... okay.. jh and mi were late.. bcos we were playing big2.5 mah.. never mind that.. lazy to type the details of that gathering here too.. just referred to this post lah ah.. it's written by me too.. oh yeah, april gathering is also for jh's birthday...

then after that, i had to rush over to timbre substation to meet up with another gang of friends. by right jj and rene should follow me over.. but it was pretty late alreadi.. so it's just me walking over.. while walking over, fk smsed mi that zm was on the stage dancing! OMG!!! I'M GOING TO MISS THAT! luckily they took a video of it.. so i managed to watch it on the camera.. hahahaha! so stupid!

at least i managed to make it that before everyone dispersed.. i kinda promised i will be there, so do or die i must be present right? hahahaha.. i'm never good with timing anyway.. was pretty shocked by the attendance list.. and that fk kept complaining wanna go home.. let's see who was there.. fk, xj, shawn, tammy, huimin, cuiling, zy, sihui, seng, belle, siao, zm and me.. wow.. that's a lot of pple.. and rojak too...

tammy is a friend of corinne, and sadly, was introduced to zm too.. yeah, and i get to know her from zm.. she's super sociable, she has no problem in getting to know new friends, even in this big group of aliens.. HAHA! she had some bad experience.. but i shall not expose that here...

cuiling, friend of zy.. surprisingly, she's a xxpy of DAJI too!!! she has even been to his house many times before! and me, i've never stepped into ji's house before lor.. he never invite me.... =~(

siao is zm's cousin.. dun need to further introduce him.. everyone knows him liao.. the rest all swiss people..

upon reaching only, shawn asked mi to down 1/2 a glass of beer liao.. i'm never strong with alcohol.. and definitely not beer! but yesterday, i think i hit a new record again... improving with each drinking session.. hai.. it's a socializing activity.. so i have to learn how to drink.. i think bcos i gulped them down pretty fast, so i didn't really feel the effect yet, until i reach home.. hahaha.. i was lobster red, as if i went for suntan lidat..


look at my palm.. it's damn red.. my body not nice, and my face oso not nice.. so i took photo of the hand is best liao.. =) oh ya, thanks to kel.. he sent me and xj home.. maybe he was forced by fk.. hahahaha.. i'm sorry for troubling u and being a lightbulb..

once reached home, i went online on msn and chit chat a bit... man.. beer never fails to make mi feel sleepy... so i took a bath and chit chat a bit more, waiting for my hair to dry a bit... then i went to bed and KO immediately.. wahahahahhahhaha! had a nice and pleasant sleep until 630am lidat.. my mum came in to switch off my light.. but that woke up me.. yeap.. so i did the post for wach-mach-wach and this post..

i will post the photo, and video if possible, once i get them from zm... come to think of that.. yesterday i wasn't looking at girls at timbre.. think i was too busy settling down and talking... zm was definitely high last night..

hmmm.. even now i can feel 3 things in my stomach.. spicy stuff from muthu curry, sweet stuff from nydc, and beer from timbre...

jorg's wedding..

attended jorg's wedding dinner hours ago.. woot~ a nice one.. i mean.. u know.. some wedding dinners are darn boring that u juz hope to finish up the food, shake hand and say goodbye.. ya.. but this one is really nice..

the part where joshua re-propose to jorg.. awwwwww.. and the words he said.. really a touching moment.. *salute*

after the wedding dinner, quite a number of us were online back at home.. we had a mass chat.. hahaha.. talking abt when getting married and stuff.. attending wedding dinner does influence the people eh? set everyone into a blissful mood..

hey pple.. pls marry after i get a decent job.. then at least i'm able to give a more proper ang pow.. now at this stage give ang pow xiong leh.. thx ah..

new year countdown party..

The Party
had a new year countdown party with the swiss pple.. this time to spice up things a bit.. we decided to have a theme, u know, like halloween lidat.. the impromptu and informal committee for this party consists of me, fk, zm, wyzy, seng and rene.. we went on to come up with the guest list and the food list... although it's potluck party, we specifically assigned pple with food to bring, and not allowing them to bring whatever they like.. there's a reason behind.. a bad experience from the past.. hahaha.. imagine roast chicken and duck for xmas.. yeah, we had that before.. i almost thot it was 15th of the month.. =.="

anyway, ya.. so the usual contacting of pple and stuff were done.. in fact, we had a notification of slightly less than a week for everyone to get prepared.. kind of a last min party.. plus, those pple i'm supposed to inform, i didn't inform them straight away.. i delayed for a few days.. =p

nevertheless, the turn up rate of the party was still decent.. me, huifang, fk and kel, zhuling, rene, yingshan, xj, butt, sihui, wyzy, alex and gf, seng, ernest, yorklin, zw, laiyi and zm (who came quite late.. eh.. no.. VERY LATE).

oh ya.. there's a theme to this party.. Uniform.. everyone must wear uniform.. we didn't restrict to just sch uniform.. of cos, occupational uniforms are also allowed.. it was on the 30th, 1 day before the party, i was desperately seeking for an uniform.. went down to queensway and met up with zm there.. head for the uniform shop and began our shopping.. we actually took a very long time to decide on which sch uniform to get.. the shop was pretty limited on the uniform.. we even told the auntie our situation.. that auntie is a very friendly and patient one.. she recommended us to get ctss uniform.. for 1 very good reason.. its pants no fight.. 10 bucks onli.. other pants all above 20bucks.. after some discussion and thinking, we decided to give up on the meaninig of the uniform and juz go for the cheapest available.. fulfilling the theme is still the main objective.. wahahahahahhaa..

then came 31st... the whole thing was pretty fun.. few of us brought props along.. ernest brought his medic kit.. i had my pointed comb.. if we have a best prop award right, it definitely goes to yingshan.. her specs and stethoscope were passed ard most of the time.. no one played with a real stethoscope before, so everyone wanna tried it out.. and her specs rox.. almost everyone tried that specs on and took a photo with it, normal stylo and/or nerdy look.. though most pple put on the nerdy look.. hahaha.. that was fun.. no doubt this is one of our best gathering so far... fun and interesting..

also, though i know my room is very messy type, yesterday was the worst i've ever seen.. clothes threw all over the place, on top of the original messiness of my room..

Food
let's see.. we have mushroom soup (with 香菇 inside.. the smell of that is overwhelming..), nuggets, fried assorted balls, 7 layers salad, pasta with 3 sauces to choose from, fruit cocktail with almond jelly, and sea coconut.. not say a lot of variety, but all of us managed to eat until full.. luckily... i almost thot not enough food lor.. actually there's sushi too.. but we didn't prepare it.. but heng we never do.. or else it will be too much le..

as usual, we had our group photos taken before any one of us left.. zm came at the right moment.. just in time to join the group photo.. beside having the normal group photo, we even split up into smaller groups to take photo.. those are formal photo taking.. not candid shots like the above photo slides..

SAF Uniform
this is a "fetish" of seng.. he wants to take photo with all the guys in their SAF uniform.. =.=" but okay lah.. i think SAF uniforms turn on girls.. dunno why.. they seemed to be impressed with us guys in uniform.. sorry zm, u r not included...

Me going Goth
this part might disgust pple.. so skip it if u feel offended or disgusted.. i've warned u liao ah.. taking xj's black tie, i decided to try goth.. ask fk to apply eyeliner for me.. and experiment a bit.. hahaha.. i think my eyes not good to draw.. and also dun look good.. hahaha.. nvm.. experience is the most important can liao.. =))

Cake
we had a cake to celebrate new year.. and to celebrate the dec babies.. i told them to blow the candle 3 sec before it turned 12am.. but they say nvm.. oh well.. hahaha.. countdown along with the tv's coundown programme... we even decorated the cake with strawberries around it.. hahaha.. secret recipe cheesecake very plain.. bo pian.. and we lazy to cut the strawberries into half and place on top of the cake... so we juz placed that ard the cake.. looked nice too lor..
