Insomnia Nights

Recently I've been counting sheep to sleep...

sheep sleep sheep sleep sheep sleep

一只枚羊,两只枚羊,三只枚羊,四只枚羊,五只枚羊,六只枚羊,七只枚羊,八只枚羊,九只枚羊,十只枚羊。。。。

I've realised it's super effective. It's how you do the counting that if it works or not. You need to let your subconscious do the counting. Because usually if you can't sleep, it's due to your hyperactive brain which refuse to sleep. So you need to reduce the activity. Do the counting using your brain, then slowly hand it over to the subconscious to do it. Then your brain is ready to sleep.

It's okay if you lost count, just restart. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT try to recall too hard or concentrate on the number! By doing so, you are engaging your main conscious activity again.

Try it! But not during work please.
