end of my havoc days...

now is sunday alreadi.. sian... no more playing ard liao.. time to guai guai do my assignment, labs, etc.. another 6 more weeks, my exam will be here liao.. hai... but heng.. to mark an end to my carefree days, i had a veri fun day yesterday..

originally, the plan was to celebrate the sept babies with a curry party.. but hor.. turn out the sept babies all cannot make it.. luckily, ly managed to make it in the end.. so we can celebrate his.. at the same time, we are using this chance to have gathering, to make up for the missed out cny gathering...

the curry turned out not bad.. edible.. everyone seems to enjoying it.. ah.. i never take photo of the curry.. anyway, after ly left (he had something else on i think), we realised we forgot to take grp photo... then we moved on to take grp photo before jorgina and her fiancé left...

another highlight of the day was that we "hired" a bartender to prepare drinks for the day.. he's none other than our shawn.. hahaha.. his plan was to get everyone seh before going home.. well, i think he did it.. hahaha.. everyone was high man.. we had an array of 10 cocktail shots.. some are out in the market mix(with modification), some are his own creations.. hahaha..

nice ah? all nice nice colour.. then we even had a stupid forfeit.. anyone spill the drinks while toasting/drinking will have to take a pure vodka shot.. woot~ anyway, almost all my drinks(except 2) contain 1/2 of the alcohol that theirs have.. hahaha.. it's special order by me.. and shawn was having that too.. bcos he need a sober mind to think of his next drink to mix.. another person having a special order is fk.. she ask for a high concentration one.. she rox.. she even took 3 straight shots bcos she accidentally spilled 3 glasses.. end of the drinking session, she's onli a bit high onli.. hahaha..

the drinking session was really fun.. everyone laughed and had fun...i wonder when's the next time we will be able to do this again.. this kind of event is once a year one.. not to mention we almost missed out on this year one.. luckily we had this gathering, because this time is the most interesting of all the years we had.. haha... well done, shawn! and well done, everyone, of cos.. it's u people who made this gathering an interesting one.. CHEERS!

the misunderstanding, i think...

hmm.. maybe i should try to explain the misunderstanding/quarrel that i had a few days ago.. in actual fact, i think i've alreadi figured out where went wrong and what each of us was angry at. but all along, i was just being stubborn and refuse to give way.

the arguement began with me accusing that that friend of mine said he was busy for that day. my accusation was based on my vague and weak memory, or perhaps my mind just made up that false memory. but yet for some reason, i strongly insisted on it. and i even fabricated a phoney msn history to "support" my say. crap. screw me for trying to be funny. that ignited his wick.

then he started to throw sarcastic remarks and, erm.. some personal insults. well, i take them personally though. maybe he doesn't think so. hmmm.. yup. that snapped it. i was alreadi in a bad mood / moody state before this. for those who doesnt know me that well, eh.. i can joke and talk like normal even when my mood is bad. of course, there will be tell-tale signs, but normal people wont be able to detect them. ya, so i was very fed up and angry. can't be bothered with talking to him anymore, i left the mass chat. here here, i've shortened his wick by half this time.

after some time, i was pulled back into the chat. actually, this was a chance for me to settle everything and resolve them. but my anger had got the better of me. so once again, i left the mass chat. yup. he exploded as well then.

do u see the picture here? the initial problem was so trivial, but snowballed into something big (and childish, imo). some more, both of us were angry at different stuff. he was angry that his integrity was been challenged, and i was angry that i was insulted as being a shallow person. although there were many chances for me, i took none of them to settle this problem maturely. reason? pride. pui! lame shit, isnt it?

so what has this many years of friendship amounted to? what meaning does it hold? all of them couldn't even beat a useless pride of mine? man, i was so childish. then until i saw his apology. that's it. i've realised i'm so useless. cowardice i would call myself. what pride, my ass. i can't even try to make up what i have done wrong. i can't believe i've let this problem dragged on and run from it for so long. hmm.. i've seen more fault of mine than his as i go on pondering abt this incident.

ya, so i would like to apologise to him here. I'm sorry. even with this scar inflicted in our friendship, i hope that won't hinder us from getting together better. i may sound fake, insincere, or overly casual for this incident. i ain't good with words, but i do really mean all the words here.

i think we are crazy.. me and my uni frens actually went west coast park mcdonalds last night.. or rather, this morning.. eh.. they all arrived at 12am+.. i went onli at 1am lidat.. bcos my car onli came home at 1am... ya.. we started off with normal chit chatting, di and ji doing lab.. then we proceeded on to the main event.. boardgaming.. hahaha.. we played risk.. first game was pretty fast.. less than an hour.. but second game.. wah.. shagged.. think the game lasted from 3am+ to 6am.. then we even had our breakfast there...

went chiong last night with my uni frens.. jioed co and her fren along.. we called our geeks.. hahaha.. we really are...

inside, i ate tofu until full.. eyes ate ice cream until full.. wahahahahahaa.. paradise~~~~~~ anyway.. the attendance list got cs, kc, zw, di, DAJI and me.. DAJI!!! AH PEH DANCING ON THE FLOOR!! WOOT~~ but the highlight will be lpp me eating tofu and eyes eating ice cream.. :D

after chionging, 8 of us squeezed into zw's car and we first sent the ladies home.. then we go geylang makan.. dou hua.. hahaha.. tofu again.. but this time real tofu.. then after suppering, we decided to go "zoo" walk walk... knn.. juz upon entering the street onli, one of US tio deh nehji by one of the animals in the "zoo".. =.=" as for who tio deh, u all go figure out urself lah ah... that's the karma man.. that guy go chiong eat too tofu, end of the day, ownself tofu kena eaten.. =.="

usually during a quarrel, this is wat i will do.. thx to my previous relationship, i've learnt this.. stand back, assess, think, react.. so.. why have i failed to do so today? it's the reaction part.. usually in this kind of situation, i'll try to play peace after calming down.. but if something pops out again and agitated me, i'll go into another cycle of the above.. it is to make mi think is it really worthwhile to play peace? of cos, a guy's pride will come into consideration too..

and that's wat happened today... when i was invited back to the chat, something sparked off that fire in me again.. so? i left the chat again.. i see no point in clarifying myself anymore... now back home.. did lots of thinking during this period of online absence... well.. i do think i need to apologise on some part of mine.. but wat happened again? man.. i juz pissed off again by something i saw.. disgusted in fact.. f*ck it.. i'll juz let it be then.. let the prides be at war...

weird ah? yesterday was a boring day.. but today was a packed day... i began my day by logging onto facebook and played with it.. hahahaha.. facebook is pretty interesting.. i feel it's much more better than friendster lor.. seriously..

met up with co at 130pm to try out a japanese restaurant.. Okonomiyaki Iroha 168. it's located @ B1 of orchard hotel shopping arcade there.. as the name suggested, the main food there is okonomiyaki.. but of cos, it does have other japanese food lah..

after lect, went to swim.. eh.. i lost track how many laps i swam.. but i guess it's 42 +/- 2.. eh.. this is bcos while swimming my 20+ laps time.. got this cute ass bikini babe swimming between mi, zw and jh.. i didnt see the face properly bcos i was swimming constantly..onli caught glimpses of her cute ass.. wahhahahahaha.. then i was trying hard to pace up with her so can swim side by side to see her face.. however, this wasnt a easy feat.. she alternated between freestyle and breaststroke.. so her speed was varying.. hard to estimate the speed i have to swim to pace beside her.. when i finally managed to do it, i think i swam for like 6-8 laps liao.. and i've lost count.. hahaha.. that's the reason..

according to zw, that bikini babe is an angmoh... hmm.. need to swim more on monday liao.. other than that babe, the pool nothing much le.. the usual stripes ang moh bikini babe was there too.. oh.. and a dunno-is-tiong-or-not bikini mm.. we think she is lah.. but she's a good one if she's tiong.. nice bikini and not bad looking.. yup.. that's all..

after swimming, we went jp walk walk... went to toyrus find zw's RC helicopter.. he didn't buy in the end.. again.. told him to get that 230bucks one liao.. best buy le... hahahhaa..

ard 6pm + a bit, we split up liao.. jh went off with his gf jiayin, eddie and ji went makan.. i lombang zw's car to clementi to meet up with my swiss gang...

as usual, latecomers is nothing to us le.. sure have one.. when everyone finally arrived, we went to the kopitiam not so nearby.. hahaha.. it's further inside, more inside than botak jones.. that one is last time jh brought the uni gang to makan one.. their chicken is nice, so i thot of bringing them there..

we ordered the 沙皮酥鸡, some 田鸡 soup, sambal kangkong, hot plate beancurd and herbal prawn... the chicken is really nice lah.. the 田鸡 is not bad oso, serving quite a lot... kangkong is those that can hardly go wrong.. the beancurd serving is a bit small.. the herbal prawn they say the soup not that nice...

oops.. pai seh.. forgot to take photo when the food was there.. so all i can show is the ending of the massacre... think the kopitiam name is 881 something.. hahaha..

after dinner, we went down to holland v to chill out.. went to indo-chine.. eh.. the beer is 1-for-1 before 9pm! so each pint will be ard 6-7 bucks lidat lor..

i've always wanted to try beer.. so now's the time man! they recommended erdinger.. they say got a bit fruity taste.. sadly.. after 1/3 pint (i claim got 1/3, but fk insisted dun have), i cannot drink it anymore le.. hahahaha.. not that i'm drunk alreadi or wat.. but i know i'm semi-high le.. and i do know when to stop okay.. i'm not a stupid drunken.. but at that time, my face is totally red.. like lobster liao.. woot~ then a bit high.. suddenly become camera whore.. snap snap snap.. some photos are inside fk's cam.. will post them later when i get them...

today, the world almost came crashing down on me..

earlier on in the morning 3am+ 4am lidat, juz before i concuss in my night due to fatigue from the high i got from drinking, i went to check my edventure (ivle for nus pple).. then i got a shocked of my life.. i found out that i had a quiz at 930am... gg.. screwed.. sure die.. negative thots + cursing words, all came into my mind... i saw my life flash pass in front of me.. er.. no lah.. not that extreme.. but i know i'm screwed badly.. note: not that i dun remember it or something.. it's i really dunno.. i dun attend this module's lectures, and i onli check edventure once every few days.. the notice was posted on saturday, and the last time i checked it was friday... =/

know wat made things worse? although it's an open book exam, MY PRINTER IS OUTTA INK!!! AND I HAVENT BOUGHT THE NOTES!!!! die x2... come people! lemme tell u something fun abt this kind of procastinating lifestyle.. EXCITEMENT! THRILL! SURPRISE! seriously.. u put urself in a position where u will die easily, but u dun exactly know how u will die.. *yawn*

anyway, ya.. so i immediately hit the notes electronically, i.e. read the pdf file on laptop... then i pray that i can get it printed before the quiz.. as for the tutorials, i was oso hoping i can get it from junqin.. i onli had 3 hrs left... woot~ ard 20 lectures worth of stuff to burn into my brain...

so.. wat to do leh? bankai and seed modes both activate liao lor... trying to understanding all the concepts.. and oso recap the 1 lecture that i've attended... then look thru tut, trying to spot questions.. open book means most probably it will be filled with maths, and not juz simple "list the 4 blah blah blah"..

ard 5:20am lidat i think.. i felt a presence beside me... zzz monster!!! i dunno how long i tried to defend myself against it.. but in the end, i got defeated... when i regain my conscious, it's 6:20am alreadi.. hai.. 1 hr gone.. but i'm almost done leh.. bcos the rest is really not enough time to understand, unless got guidance.. so, i went thru everything again.. picking out the gist of everything..

maybe the God(s) above me is still looking over me.. junqin reached sch early at 8am.. it's like a godsend... then once there, i borrowed his tutorials and look the answers.. then clarified a few stuff here and there.. WOOT~ enlightenment.. but still not good enough.. not enough time for full enlightenment... then he accompanied me to lib2 to print the notes and lent me his notes to photocopy.. i'm really grateful for his help.. really really gotta thank him a lot..

so wat's left is all god's will liao.. the quiz paper came.. there r multiple sets of papers, so no copying.. but not bad enough le bah.. 3hrs of studying or probably less.. i think i should be able to pass bah, as the quiz isn't that tough.. it's juz that i needed more time to fully grasp the concepts lah..

so.. after the quiz, my next lesson is 1230pm... it was onli 1020am then, and i'm dead shagged.. so i went home.. and here i am writing this blog depicting my exciting morning.. yeah.. everything took place in the morning.. less than 8hrs.. woot~ man.. i think my life is shortened liao.. cant take this kind of stuff anymore.. too old le... brain is rusty too le...

once again... i'm here doing food review... went to tomton that day for shabu shabu.. the menu for tomton @ central quite limited leh.. i think i prefer the menu @ liang court.. but then again, this place is more for shabu shabu bah.. for those who never try shabu shabu before.. eh.. it's basically steamboat w/ thin slices of meat.. u take a slice of meat, dip it into the hot pot.. let it swim a few laps.. then take out, dip into the sauce and throw into ur mouth! ahhhhhh~ oishii deshou?

they serve black pig pork here.. the meat itself is fantastic.. but the sauce they use here dont seem to be the one we had eaten before... it taste like normal shou yu ramen soup.. they give u some kind of paste for u to mix into the sauce.. probably they want to emphasize on the natural taste of the pork that they used a light taste sauce here? ya.. maybe so.. bcos normal shabu shabu sauce has quite a strong taste.. the pork itself is really delicious, cooked of cos...

because shabu shabu, we order a rice bowl - kimchi black pig pork rice korean style.. eh.. that rice is nice! hahahaha.. korean style rice is u mix the egg into the hot hot gravel bowl of rice.. we also had a grilled cuttlefish.. THE CUTTLEFISH IS SUPERB!!! really it's nice..

if u managed to get a seat beside the window, that will be good.. the window is veri big and u can see the stretch of clark quay.. if u dine during the night, it might be a mesmerizing sight... their staff is pretty helpful too..

overall - 4.5/5 (if you dun mind the steep pricing)


after dining at tomton, i suggested going nectarie.. since i've done a review on that alreadi, so i'll skipped that part.. but i'll say this again, the cake there is nice.. price is nett.. no gst, no service charge.. woot~ hahaha.. advertising again..

on the way there, i introduced them the Clinic bar... pretty interesting.. but eh.. look a bit suay to dine in such environment.. haahaa..

ramune...

eh... i've juz popped my ramune.. er.. and drank it.. in case those really really dunno ramune.. lemme show u.. i've highlighted those important place of the bottle u need to take note of..

first.. the marble is secured at the top of the bottle mouth.. the bottle will come with a piece of thing for u to push that marble into the bottle, and thus, opening the mouth of the bottle..

after pushing, the marble will drop down to the neck of the bottle (see above pic). the neck of the bottle is shaped to stop the marble..


the above pic show the narrow bottle neck.. oso.. take note that the 2 dimple holes highlighted above.. these 2 dimples are for u to stop the marble when u r drinking.. therefore, these 2 dimples are supposed to face down when u r tilting the bottle to ur mouth and drink.. the marble will lodged between these 2 dimples, hence, not blocking the mouth of the hole..


i believe.. eh.. i think.. i dun dare to comfirm. this is juz wat i guessed lah ah.. the marble is a safety device.. to prevent pple from drinking too fast.. hahaha.. see wat happen if u try to drink fast by turning the bottle upside down.. the marble will block the bottle mouth.. no more water! hahahaha.. interesting ah? try it next time.. i'm not too sure abt normal supermarket.. but daiso sells it... marketplace @ paragon oso got sell.. of cos my fav meidiya too.. and oso the mini-mart @ central..

my bday celebration...

today had my first bday celebration with eileen and her 2 sisters.. weird ah? hmm.. okay lah.. juz take it as a friend gathering with varying age grp lor.. hahahaha..

we went to tomton @ central there for shabu shabu.. eh.. photos i'll get it from her sister some other time.. i'll put a separate post for the food review.. while i was at the toilet there.. i saw this..

a urinal u'll see in any guy toilet.. but then.. THERE'S ICE INSIDE!!! er... so i look at the one beside.. ALSO GOT ICE!! damn.. so i am supposed to pee there? after some thinking, i decided to go to the cubicle instead.. weird shit~

after eating at tomton, we went down to nectarie for desserts.. (photo will come later) woot~ hahahaha.. then we sat there, chit chat a bit.. then rain! so we chit chat more a bit... then when time seemed a bit late alreadi, we decided to go back...

back @ central, i suggested going to the mini-mart at the basement there... there, i bought this ramune..
it's the glass bottle fizzy drink with a marble one.. any idea?? ya.. that one.. today, starting from dinner, the 4 of us kept talking abt how much we want to go back japan and play again.. hahaha.. then we kept reminiscing abt that japan trip.. hahaha.. that feeling made mi bought this (picture below)... shopping list - watch

today bought a new watch liao.. eh.. my previous watch is a rubber strap digital watch.. so thot of getting an analog watch this time.. i have a few metal straps one liao.. so looking for something else.. went to this shop at bugis village, 2nd floor.. the same place where i got my previous watch, a present from eileen... then woot~ the sales assistant is a female! and she's good looking too!

initially i didnt want any help in looking at the watch.. usually when i enter a shop, i dun like to seek for assistance.. i prefer to look on my own, and look ard.. but then, when i look up and saw her... wah... heart melt~~ then began listen to her recommendation.. she pass mi a white strap analog watch first.. then when i wanted to try it on, she said she will help my put!! oooooooo~~ sian.. i let her eat my tofu... hai.. then she went on helping mi try on a few more watches.. actually when i tried this brown watch, i wanted to buy it liao.. but.. eh.. i think.. okay lah.. she looks cute, i'll let her eat more tofu lor.. i asked for a few more other design to try on.. wahahahahahaha~

when we left the shop, zw(ng) was oso tempted to buy a watch.. not bcos he need a watch, he wanna enjoy letting the salesgirl to help him put on watch.. hahhaha.. i concluded that the girl is a pro salesperson.. using her natural weapon to upz her sales.. pro~

my yakiudon - cheena style~

ah.. that's wat's left of my yaki udon.. i ate half of it liao.. basically i'm not even prepared for this cooking.. juz now when i was hungry, i ask my mum wat's my brunch. she say cook urself.. use the remaining ingredient i had leftover from the previous curry making.. =.=" so... i dun have cabbage, japanese light soy sauce, benito flakes.. so wat's left is i can onli use cheena light soy sauce and sesame oil to make up for the taste.. i asked my mum to lend mi some cabbage.. she said no.. use my lettuce.. zzzz.. and she forced mi to use pork.. bcos no more chicken left... felt as if i'm cooking hokkien mee using udon minus the seafood.. does look like it ah?

i was quite relunctant to try it when i was done cooking.. hahaha.. bcos i totally have no idea how it would taste it!!! then i tried 1 mouth.. wooooooooo~ edible!! hahaha.. then i made my dad tried it too.. he said not bad, can eat.. hahahaha.. but the sian part is i couldn't make it yakiudon.. so i actually can onli call it stir fried udon.. hai.. no japanese taste in it at all...

i think i need to improve more on my chopping skill.. while trying to slice up the carrot.. i look at the bowls beside.. my mum had alreadi prepared the ingredients for the dinner.. she chopped up the onion so nice and thin!! kns.. then i look at my carrot.. (look above for reference) chui..

exercising UPZZ!! mm UPZZ!!

woot~ i actually exercised 3 times a week now liao.. hahhaha.. monday swam 30laps.. wednesday i swam 40 laps! UPZZ! then today played badminton..

tried out my new racket today.. i find it not bad lah.. worth the price or maybe more.. but jh think otherwise.. hahahaha.. he too used to good rackets liao lah.. but of cos, the grip really sucks.. hahhaha.. cannot tee ki anymore liao.. think i'll go down queensway someday to get the grip changed... after badminton went swimming...

monday swimming nothing interesting.. wednesday swimming oso nothing interesting leh.. maybe got more ang moh bikini babes lor.. but that dun really attract me.. today swim.. WOOT! UPZZ UPZZ! got lots of bikini mei mei!! quite a few sightings to mention here.. eh.. let's see.. in order chronological order that i spotted them...

got a good figure bikini girl.. spotted her when she's entering the swimming pool.. but she never swim... onli suntan.. had a towel over her face most of the time.. luckily we got see her face when she's coming liao.. we stopped a few times over at her side to see her.. hahha.. anyway she wont know we looking at her wat.. her face is covered!

there's this cyan bikini mei mei who always went with her bf.. we saw her before.. looks good.. but she with bf lah.. so nothing else special from her liao.. haha.. this girl was informed by eddie quek when we are still changing clothes.. he told us to look out for a blue bikini mei mei at the end of the pool..

got a 1pc suit girl.. it was during my first lap.. then u know lah.. while swimming freestyle means u can onli see wat's below the water.. then saw that 1pc suit girl.. and she's right in front of me.. then er... saw things i shouldnt see that clear.. i think she got try to groom her lower body lah.. but i'm see some "fresh" hair growing on the side liao.. zzzz.. not that i want to see or wat!! I SWEAR!! but it's juz appeared right in front of me.. got disgusted for a moment.. bcos i thot it would be ah tiongs.. then i got a siam to the right, touch the wall and surface.. wow! that girl is not bad looking!! but hor.. got an ang moh guy trying to hook up with her liao.. hahaha.. jh guessed that girl got hooked and went off with that ang moh and do something else.. hmmm..

WBMM!!!! SHE'S BACK!!! dunno why i never saw her when i enter the pool leh.. but after 2nd lap, mr zw told mi to look to the right. he said got a bikini mm.. i turned and look.. wow! she's good! but something else made mi to look her longer UNDERWATER.. EH! WAIT!! NOTHING PERVERT!!! it's the swimming style.. it looks familiar.. then searching thru my database.. AH!! IT'S HER!! I COMFIRM IT'S WBMM!! juz that today she's in a black/brown bikini.. i sprinted and caught up with jh to inform him, and comfirmed with him.. then when zw reached, i oso comfirmed with them.. apparently, i think they recognised from the googles she wore.. hahahaha.. for me, i recognise the swimming style first.. her breaststroke is unique lah..

many many time i wanted to go up to her and help her correct her stroking.. but hum leh.. and scare she thinks i'm a pervert lao peh peh.. no leh. all frens know i veri good person one eh.. every now and then i'll help them correct their stroking one leh.. i'm a nice person.. really.. then juz when i got really happy seeing her there.. she made her move to the corner of the pool liao.. then i mentioned to jh and zw that she's going off liao.. sadded.. they say i know her so well until by seeing her movement i know wat she's going to do next.. er.. that makes mi sound a perverted stalker.. kns...

EH! i need to say this again.. girls that i see isn't girls that i want! different! those girls r juz for my eyes' pleasure.. not that i want them to be my gf or wat! eh.. i know there's a big gap between mi and them okay.. i'm not that thick skin... tsk..

been scolded childish...

hai... how? i actually got scolded (not scolded lah.. kinda tio say nia lah) by a cab uncle yesterday.. yesterday i woke up late and supposed to meet uni frens for lab project meeting.. then didnt want to act so attittude, so i had to take cab down to meet them lor.. but hor.. i think the time i took to do my hair is equal to the time taken for the cab to reach sch... hahahahaha.. shhhhh!

then as usual lah.. i got a "talk to me" look, so cab uncles enjoy talking to me.. and oso as usual, most uncles will ask wat u doing now, study which course, wat year, etc.. then this uncle went on and say got interested in doing wat job and got career talk in sch or not.. i told him those companies i'm not interested.. so up to now i dunno yet.. then..... he said... I'M CHILDISH!!

sadded.. the word "childish" whacked mi hard.. all along i believe i can work well in a field i'm interested in.. if i have no interest, most probably i wont enjoy.. that uncle went on explaining the reason behind.. he said interest is onli for kids.. bcos they dun have any other aims beside interest.. but adult like me, i gotta think beyond that...he said i juz need to find a high pay job and work for experience.. with experience u can move on to other field...

no doubt, wat he said wasn't wrong lah.. yes, u can take on any related job juz for experience first... with that experience u can move on... but.. if u give mi a 2.3k job doing things i like, and a job 3k doing things i dun really like.. i think i might still choose the 2.3k.. hmmm.. but of cos, if any lower pay, the story will be different liao lah.. childish ah? i must admit.. wat if i wanna start a family of my own? or my family meet some financial crisis? that 0.7k will make a lot of difference.. now i dunno should i juz go for experience/money or my interest.. this really shakes my principle of life - "Enjoy life"...
