well.. someone said my blog getting stagnant.. hmm.. true.. but i think bcos i have nothing new to talk..

this blog was set up during last year end of june lidat.. the reason this blog was born is bcos during that period.. well.. i was feeling pretty down due the gigantic hiccup in my previous relationship, which piaked shortly after that.. i needed a place to dump all my excess and overwhelming emotions and feelings.. so i decided to go for a blog.. yes, this is the real reason why this blog started. did i say any other reason last time? if i did, okay, sorry, i lied to you.. hahaha.. this is the REAL reason! well, at least initially it was due to that..

i've complaint lots of stuff.. unless it's new stuff to complain, otherwise i will try to nag over the same stuff.. it's boring u see.. even i get bored if i keep complaining the same things.. my main complain i think is still school issues.. I HATE SCHOOL (sans the holidays and breaks)!!

then all my emo posts maciam talk the same stuff too.. i'm lonely~ i need a companion~ i want a gf~ basically it's juz complaining abt my singlehood.. but hey! i dun do that kind of post often alreadi... as compared to the starting phase.. and recently i think.. i think i'm slowly getting numb to such emotions.. i dunno wat is it like to really like a girl, fall in love kind.. infatuation, admiring of a girl, compulsion to find a girl just bcos i want a gf.. eh.. all those feelings are mixed up and always repeating until an extent that i can't differentiate them anymore.. and eventually, numb to them.. perhaps bcos i'm ignoring them all.. forcefully.. bothersome at times, u see... i will juz spend my precious sleeping time thinking over such stuff... and always come up with no answer.. wat a waste of time...

now given any girl, i can onli tell if i like this girl, or not.. but i can't categorise her under which kind of liking.. hmmm.. i can't remember the "wow! she's the one" kind of feeling le.. numb~ numb~ numb~

will i end up like a fren of mine (name not stated due to confidentiality)? too used to singlehood and totally lost the interest of finding a gf/bf.. then a sudden outbreak of desperation? hahahaha.. shhhhh.. if u know who he/she is, pls dun say.. i still want my life one... and luckily he/she dun really often surf blogs.. hopefully this post gets flush out fast...

attended jorg's wedding dinner hours ago.. woot~ a nice one.. i mean.. u know.. some wedding dinners are darn boring that u juz hope to finish up the food, shake hand and say goodbye.. ya.. but this one is really nice..

after the wedding dinner, quite a number of us were online back at home.. we had a mass chat.. hahaha.. talking abt when getting married and stuff.. attending wedding dinner does influence the people eh? set everyone into a blissful mood..

some time back, i then realised that it's not my monitor can onli tilt up that much.. it's.. eh.. it's tilting downwards more and more everyday...

why? bcos the freaking monitor is too heavy and the stand they designed for it cannot take the heavy.. stupid samsung engineer.. no brainers!

eh.. not really funny.. but i find it funny.. hahaha.. just a problem of having too many drivers who dun like driving.. here's the background of the story.. yesterday was cny eve.. was going to boon lay raja for dinner.. my eldest sis went back to indonesia for cny (her hubby is indonesian), so her car is parked at our place.. so we got 2 cars.. then got me, dad, mum and 2nd sis going for the dinner.. eh.. so mum ask which car are we going to drive... then i said driver decide.. so she asked who's the driver.. i said my sis.. my sis arrow my dad, my dad arrow me.. then we keep arrowing here and there.. the vote was 2 for my dad (by me and my sis), 2 for either me or sis (by my dad and mum).. so i came up with the best solution.. orh ah beh ah shom! wahahaahahhahaha.. after a few rounds of ties, my sis ended up losing.. so she's the designated driver.. =)

then today went to my grandma house.. sis said dad never sleep enough.. so it's either mi or her driving.. once again.. best solution for 2 pax - scissors paper stone! okay.. and i lost..

haunted by fyp...

FYP sucks.. have i said how much it sucks? seriously, how does it benefit us? "experience the stages of a project - research, design, implement, feedback, blah blah blah" what the heck, we did that during IA already.. thanks for giving us another chance.. DUH! it's simply useless.. this stupid FYP.. it's juz benefitting the stupid profs.. why? because we are doing their f***ing research work!

i bet even the management level of the university oso knows FYP is useless.. but why is FYP still around? bcos the bloody deans are also prof! =.=" so dream on.. i think maybe IA is also benefitting the school.. bridging ties to those IA companies by supplying them cheap labour..

anyway.. why i suddenly complain so much abt FYP.. actually, i'm pretty much relunctant to do it even though i'm pressed by the deadline.. i know everyone feels the same.. but, eh, mainly not bcos it's sian or wat.. it's for another reason.. ard 3 days ago, i started doing proper read up and research on my FYP, though i've done a bit during last year.. i'm doing more intensive read up and research, if that makes you feel better.. then for the initial 2 nights.. i can't sleep well at all.. the stuff i've read is haunting me.. my mind is too active...even though i tried to sleep at 3-4am, i can't.. those equations, logics and stuff juz kept popping up in my mind.. each time i put aside 1, another 1 will just pop up... sucks.. end up, i spent at least an hour in bed WIDE AWAKE..

yesterday, i was actually afraid to do my FYP stuff.. scare that i can't sleep again.. for goodness sake, now is actually school term already.. I NEED TO LIVE IN SINGAPORE TIME ZONE! NO MORE EUROPE! so i cast FYP away, and play whole night long.. woot~ at 3am, i felt tired and went to sleep.. immediate KO! well done! that comfirmed my suspect that it was the FYP that's haunting and not before i'm still suffering from 'jet lag'.. and not to mention, i slept for more than 12hrs yesterday.. =)

however, and sadly, i can't afford to repeat wat i've done yesterday.. so i had to work on my FYP again.. so here i am, writing this blog juz bcos i can't sleep.. i've been tossing ard in my bed for an hour alreadi.. and i gave up sleeping.. i'll just sleep later when i'm really shagged out..

BUT! eh.. pls dun think that tossing ard in bed is really a waste of time.. usually when i can't sleep, it's bcos my mind is too active.. too much stuff in my brain and i was thinking hard on them... that's why.. many times.. bcos of this hyperactive brain during sleeptime, i gained knowledge from some sudden enlightenment.. no joke! that actually happened a lot of times alreadi.. this hyperactiveness can even be brought into my dream world..

i remember there was once.. i was thinking real hard, trying to solve a programming logic problem.. in my dream, i even dreamed that i was doing programming work.. although i can't really recall wat the whole dream story was about and how i managed to gain enlightenment, when i woke up, i did really have the solution in my mind alreadi! and that solution worked.. hmmm.. spooky or wat? either it's "someone else" helping me, or i'm really that spooky... GODLIKE!

anyway, ya.. that's problem solving in dreamland.. then just now was another incident of solving thing while wide awake on bed... just now i suddenly realised something that i was reading and wat it was talking abt.. intitially while reading it, i dunno how to link it.. just now i finally managed to link it up... this is wat i called as caching.. read/see/listen something i dun understand yet, put into my brain's cache.. i know i will be needing it soon.. v(^^)v it always works.. even for my exam..

lemme share this enlightenment that i've gained just now.. it's abt how to split a number up to binary form and let hardware handle.. let's say a number 27.. we human, one look and we know 17 = 16 + 8 + 2 + 1.. so 27y, y is an arbituary integer, can be broken down into 16y + 8y + 2y + y.. then we juz need to count the individual component and add them up.. we even know 16y = 8y + 8y.. and stuff.. so we can count a lot faster than an electronic device.. faster as in number of steps.. of cos their processing time is still faster than us.. anyway.. ya.. to make electronic stuff to think like us, we need to put in lots of logic to make it think like us... but apparently there is quite a simple way for electronic to process that faster.. i forgot wat the algo name liao.. but it's swee lah..

New Year Eve Countdown Party
the new year eve party.. the party was actually planned 1 week before the date.. or maybe less than 1 week.. but hey! it went pretty well! and it was fun! tanoshikatta!! not to mention the difficulty of planning went up by adding a theme to it...

JC Chalet
Having a chalet this weekends with my JC friends.. this chalet was onli planned last week during the gathering (2nd Jan).. everything was planned on that day.. and *poof* the chalet booked and no more returning.. =) usually pple plan way before the date of the chalet right? we did it juz within 1 week..

Today's Bowling and KTV
today went bowling with seng, kzw and ys... this bowling was planned juz last night.. =)) so long never bowl le.. 2nd game i got 140+ points wor! woot~ my highest since sec sch time.. quite on form today.. thx to seng.. kept putting pressure on us.. thx ah.. =.="
After the bowling, we juz decided to go KTV, without ys of cos.. she out for lunchtime onli.. not commenting on her lunchbreak duration.. it's... never mind.. i said not commenting on it liao.. hahaha.. then off we went to chinatown for k.. woot~ this one lagi better.. decision made in just a few min..


so how? last mintue works wonders right? okay.. off i go to do my fyp.. interim report submission date is next monday.. good game...

new year countdown party..

The Party
had a new year countdown party with the swiss pple.. this time to spice up things a bit.. we decided to have a theme, u know, like halloween lidat.. the impromptu and informal committee for this party consists of me, fk, zm, wyzy, seng and rene.. we went on to come up with the guest list and the food list... although it's potluck party, we specifically assigned pple with food to bring, and not allowing them to bring whatever they like.. there's a reason behind.. a bad experience from the past.. hahaha.. imagine roast chicken and duck for xmas.. yeah, we had that before.. i almost thot it was 15th of the month.. =.="

anyway, ya.. so the usual contacting of pple and stuff were done.. in fact, we had a notification of slightly less than a week for everyone to get prepared.. kind of a last min party.. plus, those pple i'm supposed to inform, i didn't inform them straight away.. i delayed for a few days.. =p

nevertheless, the turn up rate of the party was still decent.. me, huifang, fk and kel, zhuling, rene, yingshan, xj, butt, sihui, wyzy, alex and gf, seng, ernest, yorklin, zw, laiyi and zm (who came quite late.. eh.. no.. VERY LATE).

oh ya.. there's a theme to this party.. Uniform.. everyone must wear uniform.. we didn't restrict to just sch uniform.. of cos, occupational uniforms are also allowed.. it was on the 30th, 1 day before the party, i was desperately seeking for an uniform.. went down to queensway and met up with zm there.. head for the uniform shop and began our shopping.. we actually took a very long time to decide on which sch uniform to get.. the shop was pretty limited on the uniform.. we even told the auntie our situation.. that auntie is a very friendly and patient one.. she recommended us to get ctss uniform.. for 1 very good reason.. its pants no fight.. 10 bucks onli.. other pants all above 20bucks.. after some discussion and thinking, we decided to give up on the meaninig of the uniform and juz go for the cheapest available.. fulfilling the theme is still the main objective.. wahahahahahhaa..

then came 31st... the whole thing was pretty fun.. few of us brought props along.. ernest brought his medic kit.. i had my pointed comb.. if we have a best prop award right, it definitely goes to yingshan.. her specs and stethoscope were passed ard most of the time.. no one played with a real stethoscope before, so everyone wanna tried it out.. and her specs rox.. almost everyone tried that specs on and took a photo with it, normal stylo and/or nerdy look.. though most pple put on the nerdy look.. hahaha.. that was fun.. no doubt this is one of our best gathering so far... fun and interesting..

also, though i know my room is very messy type, yesterday was the worst i've ever seen.. clothes threw all over the place, on top of the original messiness of my room..

Food
let's see.. we have mushroom soup (with 香菇 inside.. the smell of that is overwhelming..), nuggets, fried assorted balls, 7 layers salad, pasta with 3 sauces to choose from, fruit cocktail with almond jelly, and sea coconut.. not say a lot of variety, but all of us managed to eat until full.. luckily... i almost thot not enough food lor.. actually there's sushi too.. but we didn't prepare it.. but heng we never do.. or else it will be too much le..

as usual, we had our group photos taken before any one of us left.. zm came at the right moment.. just in time to join the group photo.. beside having the normal group photo, we even split up into smaller groups to take photo.. those are formal photo taking.. not candid shots like the above photo slides..

this is a "fetish" of seng.. he wants to take photo with all the guys in their SAF uniform.. =.=" but okay lah.. i think SAF uniforms turn on girls.. dunno why.. they seemed to be impressed with us guys in uniform.. sorry zm, u r not included...

this part might disgust pple.. so skip it if u feel offended or disgusted.. i've warned u liao ah.. taking xj's black tie, i decided to try goth.. ask fk to apply eyeliner for me.. and experiment a bit.. hahaha.. i think my eyes not good to draw.. and also dun look good.. hahaha.. nvm.. experience is the most important can liao.. =))

we had a cake to celebrate new year.. and to celebrate the dec babies.. i told them to blow the candle 3 sec before it turned 12am.. but they say nvm.. oh well.. hahaha.. countdown along with the tv's coundown programme... we even decorated the cake with strawberries around it.. hahaha.. secret recipe cheesecake very plain.. bo pian.. and we lazy to cut the strawberries into half and place on top of the cake... so we juz placed that ard the cake.. looked nice too lor..
