a trip to suntec...

as i've said in my previous post that the lousy weighing machine is spoilt.. well.. so today i went down to suntec carrefour to do an exchange.. luckily they do have this service.. no like goods sold liao spoil ur own problem.. something good abt carrefour.. but then.. er.. their staffs aren't that good.. not that helpful i would say (except the lady at the customer service counter.. XD)... nevertheless, i managed to exchange for a new weighing machine and i tested there and back in my room juz now liao.. yesh, it's still working..

while i was at suntec, i went over to take a look at the fountain that jh mentioned during the compclub gathering..

it's pretty amazing.. there's like beads in all the streams of the water that are coming down.. but yet these beads are moving up and down at times.. initially i still thot it's some solid physical string-like-stuff that are attached to each of the streams.. but when the song ended (apparently the movement of the beads is according to the song the fountain that is playing at the moment), all the water is cut down, and i was stunned.. nothing! nothing is in the mid air! so it's juz water!!

then after some thinking, i believe such be some visual illusion liao.. first thing came to my mind is waves.. remember sometimes when u r looking at an oscilloscope, the waves seems to be moving backward, and moving forward? i think it's the same logic.. the frame rate of our eyes that capture the image.. hmm.. basically.. eh.. Visual Illusion! yeah.. hahaha..

since i made all the way down to town liao, i wanted to make my trip more fruitful.. looked at donut factory.. woooo~ tempted.. but no! cutting down on snacking.. so no food! then other alternative would be shopping.. ahhh.. then i went over to the fountain and abt to cross over to marina sq.. hai... the weighing machine is damn bulky.. a total sian feeling overwhelmed mi.. so i decided i wanna go home.. i'll leave my shopping to other times.. I GOT SO MUCH THING TO BUY!!! yeah~ i even compiled a list in the blog too liao.. hahaha.. Dear friends! if u have anything same in the list i have, jio mi out together and buy!!! i need 2nd opinion on buying stuff.. thx!

was taking the fountain photo out from my hp, then saw this photo that i forgot to post.. this is a picture of wy eating dou hua (DUH~ i know it's obvious!) well.. it was saturday night, mi and zm got nothing better to do so we offered dou hua services.. and wy dun mind.. there! we went over to his place and eat dou hua... actually this photo was taken and mmsed over to rene to spite her.. wahahahahahaha.. evil doing~ but after reading her blog, didn't realise she was that tired due to her eventful weekdays and saturday.. =X apologies to rene...
